Ever since my mom bought me Bobbi Brown’s “Teenage Beauty” book when I was thirteen, my love of beauty has been tied to my love of cinematic storytelling. Just like films, beauty brands offer vehicles for self-expression and discovery. They convey unique perspectives on the world, and create community. Great beauty brands — and great beauty videos — go beyond the idea of simply selling products. We’re crafting conversations that shape culture.
